Next stop Coober Pedy
We have had a leisurely meander staying the first night at Port Parham because we were so late getting away and last night at Terowie. It's a lovely little pioneer town and seemed like it was deserted except for a few of us in the free camping ground. Terowie was a thriving railway town in it's day and is the place were Douglas McArthur proclaimed he "will return" We left there and travelled to Peterborough where we bought a few supplies and on to Port Augusta where we filled with fuel had lunch and had a leisurely travel up to Pimba where we are tonight. Tonight is the first night we haven't been wrapped up in jumpers and coats! The weather during the day has been lovely but once the sun went down it was freezing. Tomorrow we are heading off to Coober Pedy to stay in the caravan park for two or three days. We can leave the van and explore the town and do some tours. We have loved being in the van and are getting our routine down pat just like real grey nomads! Our singing hasn't improved but no one can hear us ;)
