Hot..Hot...Hot

45 degrees at Longreach!  We arrived at the Barcaldine caravan park in the morning, left the van and travelled to Longreach (less than an hour away) for a few hours and had a look around and got some groceries before heading back to explore Barcaldine.  Next morning we went South through Blackall and stayed a night at the free camp in Tambo on the river.  It was much cooler and we did a long bushwalk along the river.  The next morning we traveled further South stopping at Augathello, Charleville and then  East to Morven.  I love these tiny towns.  The streets are so wide which allowed the bullock teams of between 14 to 22 bullocks and a long dray to do a "uey".  The locals are so laid back and friendly.  We will stay at Morven for a few days before moving on to Roma to pick up our mail.
